Wellbeing

61 donors have given to Wellbeing, raising £5,890.

Helping pupils to develop good mental and physical health is perhaps the most valuable education Durham School can offer. The pandemic has heightened awareness of the pressures our young people face at school and has added to what was already a difficult time for many pupils.

Alongside the pressures we may have faced in our youth, today’s young people must face virtual as well as real world threats. Their world has become more complex, and so rightly we have spent a number of years developing an award-winning Wellbeing Programme to help them.

Our network of Wellbeing Ambassadors, recruited from across the pupil and wider School community, has already benefited from gifts from a number of individuals and organisations. Your support will enable us to give more training and resources to our volunteers to help them improve the health and wellbeing of their peers.
